with everyone’s schedule, but we can record it and then send it out to anyone not able to join, and then keeping these meetings fairly regularly occurring will help to make sure everyone has an opportunity to participate at some point. And I think designating
some kind of rotating leadership structure will be important. To make sure we have consolidated structure, but also ensuring that everyone has a chance to guide this work at some point.

like to envision this group having a legislative influence when it comes to private schools serving our military connected students.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I have to apologize for how neglectful I have been of this page. As April and others mentioned. Falls… Anyways, yes, the survey that was sent out over the Summer didn’t have any responses of willing/able institutions (other than ones that
have already hosted) to host this Fall, which is completely understandable considering our work and the fact that Falls are so full already (I apologize if I missed anyone who actually did express interest to hosting from that). I was actually wondering if
we might start with even something as casual as a monthly Zoom call. We could dedicate each session to a different topic of choice. Anyways, I am also a big fan of meeting in the Spring as a consortium, if anyone is interested/able to host. It sounds like
Trisha Ruiz and the University of St. Thomas-Houston may be interested. Would love to continue that conversation!

<p class="MsoNormal">Currently the group is not active. Kevin Davis sent out a query earlier in the year to garner interest about reconnecting this fall, but I don’t believe anyone responded.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">That being said, I feel it is an important group because there is no entity in Texas that focuses on private schools that support military affiliated students using the yellow ribbon program.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The room we will be in is the large room directly in front of you if you come in through the North entrance (large main entrance up outside stairs leading to double doors). If you walk in one of the side entrances into the building, you
will need to go up 1 flight of stairs. The room is called the “Barfield Drawing Room”.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>Parking:</u></b> We were only able to secure 10 parking spots to be coned off in the south visitor parking lot (highlighted below). If there are no more spots available there, you should be able to find visitor parking either in the
un-coned area of the same lot or in the parking garage (highlighted below to the north). Both parking lots are a short walk to the Student Union Building. Handicapped parking is also available next to the Student Union Building on “M.P. Daniel Esplanade Rd”.
