Hi Valerie,
Currently the group is not active.  Kevin Davis sent out a query earlier in the year to garner interest about reconnecting this fall, but I don't believe anyone responded.
That being said, I feel it is an important group because there is no entity in Texas that focuses on private schools that support military affiliated students using the yellow ribbon program.
Possibly we can move forward and try for spring 2023, even if it is a virtual reconnect.

The building the meeting will be held in is the "Student Union Building". You can search for this building in the map to highlight it (also highlighted below).

The room we will be in is the large room directly in front of you if you come in through the North entrance (large main entrance up outside stairs leading to double doors). If you walk in one of the side entrances into the building, you will need to go up 1 flight of stairs. The room is called the "Barfield Drawing Room".

Parking: We were only able to secure 10 parking spots to be coned off in the south visitor parking lot (highlighted below). If there are no more spots available there, you should be able to find visitor parking either in the un-coned area of the same lot or in the parking garage (highlighted below to the north). Both parking lots are a short walk to the Student Union Building. Handicapped parking is also available next to the Student Union Building on "M.P. Daniel Esplanade Rd". Let me know if you need any additional mobility accomodations.

Agenda: The agenda for the day is attached to this email. It will be a jam packed day, but we are hopeful for a very productive one as well!

Things to consider before arriving:

  *   At the End of the event Bill Dwiggins, Rand Binford and I will be looking to hand off the baton to the next university to host and keep the momentum going. Please consider volunteering for this opportunity!

  *   Look over the topics being covered. Many topics will be round table discussions broken in smaller groups. Please think about what great things your school is doing or has thought about implementing (or maybe challenges you have experienced) so we can all benefit from your knowledge/experience!
