<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;"><b>WACO, Texas –
</b>Baylor baseball redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong has been named to the ABCA/Rawlings Division I Central All-Region First Team, as announced Tuesday by the organization. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">
<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;">A native of Magnolia, Texas, Armstrong became BU’s all-time single-season home run leader in his first and only year with the Bears, breaking the program
record with 24 homers on the season. He batted .338 on the year and slugged .757 with 71 hits, 39 of which went for extra bases, including 14 doubles, one triple and his 24 long balls, which ranked as the 10th-most in the country. Armstrong posted
a 1.210 OPS, the fifth-best in the Big 12, and led the team with 50 runs scored while driving in 64 of his own, the most by a Bear since 2012.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">
<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">
<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;">In addition to becoming the program’s single-season home run king, Armstrong etched his name all across the Baylor record book as his .757 slugging percentage
ranked second all-time, 39 extra-base hits ranked sixth-most, and 64 RBIs ranked as the 10th-largest output in program history. Armstrong dominated in Big 12 play as well, crushing a program-record 13 home runs in league play, the third-most in the conference.
His .770 slugging percentage in conference games was also a program record, while his 21 extra-base hits were the second-most by a Bear all-time and 31 RBIs placed him fifth in school history.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">
<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;">Earlier this summer, Armstrong was tabbed the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and garnered All-Big 12 First Team recognition as voted on by the league’s head
coaches. Throughout the year, Armstrong collected three Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors, one Big 12 Player of the Week recognition, three Baseball America National Team of the Week honors and was twice named the NCBWA’s National Hitter of the Week.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">

<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;">Armstrong racked up 18 multi-hit games and led the Bears with 15 multi-RBI efforts in 2026. He logged a career-best 28-game on-base streak from April 2
through the season finale on May 21, which also included a personal-best 13-game hitting streak. Armstrong homered in 17 of the club’s 56 games, with six multi-home run efforts, and became the first Bear in the program’s documented history to go deep in five-consecutive
games from April 26 to May 3.</span></p>

<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;">On Opening Day against New Mexico State, Armstrong became just the second player in NCAA history to hit three grand slams in a single game, as he tied the
BU single-game record with three home runs and topped the program’s single-game RBI record with 12.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; margin: 0in;">

<span style="letter-spacing: 0.25pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;">As a First-Team All-Region selection, Armstrong is eligible for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors, which will be announced on Friday, June 12, prior to the
start of the 2026 Men’s College World Series. Armstrong is the third Bear to earn All-Region praise during the Mitch Thompson era and 43rd all-time. </span></p>
