 run and gave Baylor a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first. However, Utah countered with a three spot in the bottom half on four hits, including a two-run home run, to charge ahead at 3-1 after the opening frame.</span></p>

 Lucas Davenport settled back in to put up a zero in the home half and got some help from freshman outfielder Dylan Perez who shielded the sun to make three tough grabs in left field.</span></p>

 and Sanders launched his seventh long ball of the 2026 campaign. But once again, the Utes responded to knot things back up at 5-5 thanks to a trio of hits and a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame.</span></p>
