</b>Behind Tyce Armstrong’s historic home run, Baylor baseball won an exciting 8-7 ballgame over UCF to salvage the weekend series on Sunday at Magnolia Field at Baylor Ballpark in Waco.</span></p>

 Baylor freshman record with his 11<sup>th</sup> round-tripper of the season and redshirt sophomore catcher Brayden Buchanan hit his first-career dinger in the win. </span></p>

 the silence with a three-run home run and a solo shot, going back to back to put up the game’s first runs at 4-0. </span></p>

 ball of the year to break BU’s single-season home run record. Then, Janusek crushed his 11<sup>th</sup> of the year to tie Baylor’s all-time freshman home run record, match Max Muncy’s 11 from 2010. </span></p>

 redshirt freshman infielder Brytton Clements walked to lead off the inning and fifth-year senior outfielder Ty Johnson bunted for a base hit, a passed ball allowed Clements to score to break the deadlock. Then, a safety squeeze bunt from Lanclos extended the

 lead to 7-5 as Johnson slid in safely with a nifty swim move.</span></p>

 dance out of danger. In the ninth, UCF threatened again, loading the bases with two outs, but Bunch came up big with a strikeout to finish off the win and secure Baylor’s spot in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament.</span></p>
