</b>Baylor baseball redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong has picked up a trio of national awards after his outstanding five-homer week, as announced by the various publications on Tuesday.</span></p>

 (4), Florida Gulf Coast two-way player Evan Dempsey (4), Cincinnati first baseman Quinton Coats (3) and Georgia catcher Daniel Jackson (3) as the fifth player to do so this year.</span></p>

 Day performance, when he hit three grand slams and became just the second player in college baseball history to do so in a single game.</span></p>

 a five-homer week, Armstrong continues to add to his trophy case with three more national recognitions. He batted a whopping .563 (9-for-16) this week with all nine of his hits going for extra bases (four doubles, five home runs). He also drove in nine runs

 and scored five of his own, logging his 13<sup>th</sup>, 14<sup>th</sup> and 15<sup>th</sup> multi-hit games and 11<sup>th</sup>, 12<sup>th</sup> and 13<sup>th</sup> multi-RBI games of the season this week in leading BU to a 3-1 record against UT Arlington

 and Texas Tech. </span></p>

 the first player in Baylor’s recorded history to do so. His 21 home runs on the year are now tied for the most in program history, with still seven regular-season games to go, matching Charley Carter’s previous record which had stood for 28 years with 21 long

 balls in the 1998 campaign.</span></p>
