</b>Baylor baseball won a 6-3 thriller over Cincinnati on Sunday at UC Baseball Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, scoring five runs in the top of the ninth to come from behind and salvage the weekend series against the Bearcats.</span></p>

 BU erased two previous deficits and never trailed by more than a run to claim the weekend finale over UC (24-14, 6-9 Big 12).</span></p>

 on the day as Baylor racked up 15 total hits. Fifth-year senior right-hander Caleb Bunch (4-1, 1.08 ERA) got the win, throwing three scoreless on the heels of a gutsy start from senior southpaw Ethan Calder. Calder went 5.2 innings scattering nine hits and

 allowing just three runs with one walk and six strikeouts, battling his way through a 100-pitch afternoon.</span></p>

 a Janusek single. After an errant throw on a pickoff move, Riebock crossed the plate to put the Bears on the scoreboard first. </span></p>

 the Bearcats in front, 2-1. BU couldn’t cash in on Janusek’s leadoff double in the top of the fourth, but Calder bounced back nicely in the bottom half of the inning with two more strikeouts in a 1-2-3 frame of his own.</span></p>

 since March 21. Kennett singled one batter later, and though a double play ball erased him, it also allowed Johnson to score and tie things up at 2-2.</span></p>

 Johnson’s sacrifice bunt and Kennett’s second knock of the day, Baylor had runners on the corners with one away for freshman outfielder Bo Caraway, who laid down a perfect RBI squeeze bunt to even the scoreline at 3-3. Back-to-back strikeouts went on to end

 the inning and keep things tied at the stretch.</span></p>

 off the bat of Clements was dropped and a force out was made at second base, and after the umpires conferred with both head coaches, BU had runners on first and second with two outs. Then, an infield single loaded the bases, but a screaming line drive by Kennett

 was snagged at short to end the inning without any runs crossing the plate.</span></p>

 safely in the top of the ninth to plate five runs and go in front, 8-3. Caraway started the rally with a leadoff triple, then scored on redshirt junior infielder Travis Sanders’ RBI single. Riebock doubled for the second time and then two runs scored on Janusek’s

 shift-beating grounder through the right side that also went for extra bases. Clements added some insurance with an RBI single, then Kennett put the cherry on top with his third hit of the day to score another. </span></p>
