</b>Baylor baseball put together one of its most complete performances of the year to clinch the series over Houston with a 10-3 victory on Saturday at Schroeder Park.</span></p>

 eight-straight zeros while the Baylor offense scored 10 runs on 10 hits. All the while, the Bears’ defense was spectacular with multiple diving plays on the infield and a trio of double plays turned, moving BU’s Big 12-leading total to 25 twin killings on

 the season.</span></p>

 junior infielder Travis Sanders led the way at the plate with two hits and three RBIs, including his 100<sup>th</sup>knock of his career, a two-run homer in the eighth inning.</span></p>

 bounced back with a clean second and the Bears responded in the top of the third, scoring six runs on four hits and two UH errors.</span></p>

 RBI double that was sliced into the right-field corner. A Cougar fielding error allowed Sanders to score, then Clements walked with the bases loaded two batters later to tie the score at 3-3.</span></p>

 BU a 6-3 lead. Wallace put up four-straight zeros from there and exited after giving up just one hit, one walk and one hit by pitch over his final four frames.</span></p>

 And in the seventh, Clements drove in De La Garza, who had tripled, with a sacrifice fly to make it 8-3.</span></p>

 and Sanders teamed up for an impressive 4-6-3 double play in the sixth, and Sanders made a brilliant heads-up diving stop and back-picked a baserunner at second base from deep in the hole at shortstop in the seventh.</span></p>

 push the advantage to 10-3. Freshman right-hander Luke McLeod came on to work the final two innings of the ballgame and faced the minimum, as BU turned its third double play of the day before one final diving stop from redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong

 clinched the series for the Bears.</span></p>
