</b>Baylor baseball secured its highest-ranked win of the Mitch Thompson era on Friday, coming from behind to defeat No. 11 Ole Miss, 6-5, at the 2026 BRUCE BOLT College Classic at Daikin Park in Houston.</span></p>

 knotted the ballgame up at 5-5 in the top of the ninth as junior catcher JJ Kennett singled in fifth-year senior outfielder Ty Johnson. In the 10<sup>th</sup>, redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong drove in sophomore infielder Pearson Riebock to put

 Baylor ahead 6-5.</span></p>

 walked two and hit one before an RBI fielder’s choice off the bat of Snow marked the ballgame’s first tally. </span></p>

 Stahl would settle in and record back-to-back strikeouts to end the threat in the second. He surpassed his career high with his fourth and fifth strikeouts in the third inning, then struck out the side around a double and a two-out walk in the fourth to move

 his total to eight punchouts.</span></p>
