<span style="text-transform: none;"><b>GAME NOTES</b></span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Saturday nights matchup will be only the third meeting between the Bears and Knights in program history, with the two not meeting until UCF joined the Big 12. Baylor is 2-0 against UCF.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> With a trip to UCF and Houston over the next two games, Baylor begins a two-game swing through Space Cities.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> BU went toe-to-toe with No. 2 Arizona on Tuesday night, building a seven-point halftime lead and forcing a second-half that had nine ties before ultimately faling 87-80.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> The seven-point halftime lead was the largest halftime defecit for Arizona since last season at Kansas and only the third time this season the Wildcats had trailed at the half.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> <b>Cameron Carr</b> earned a career-best in FGs (11) and FGAs (19) to end with 26 points, his 12th 20-point game.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> <b>Isaac Williams IV</b> continued his career-long five-game streak in double-figures with 16 points and a career-high of 8 assists.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Williams is averaging 15.6 points per game and has shot a .617-clip from the field (29-of-47) in the last five games.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Williams holds an impressive 4.1 assist/turnover ratio in the last five contents.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> <b>Tounde Yessoufou</b> continues to rewrite the freshman program record book, breaking the freshman record of made field goals with 187, passing the record held since 1975-76 by Larry Spicer.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Yessoufou continues Baylors the success streak of standout freshman in the record books, with
<b>VJ Edgecombe</b> (2024-25), <b>JaKobe</b> <b>Walter</b> (2023-24), and <b>Keyonte</b> <b>George</b> (2022-23) all making their marks in the last four years.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Yessoufou became only the fourth player in Baylor program history to reach the 500-point mark in his freshman year. Hes on track to break the program record in points by a freshman (509), only needing eight points.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Yessoufou is 12 steals away from breaking the BU freshman record of steals, currently held by
<b>VJ</b> <b>Edgecombe</b> (68).</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Yessoufou ranks second in the Big 12 in steals (56) and third in the Big 12 in steals per game (2.00).</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> <b>Cameron Carr</b> became the first sophomore to achieve 500 points in a season since LaceDarius Dunn in 2007-08.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Carr leads the Bears and is sixth in the Big 12 with 18.9 points per game.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Head coach <b>Scott Drew</b> is two wins away from 500 career wins with a career record of 498-284.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Kenpom has the Bears holding the No. 2 toughest opponent defensive strength of schedule in the country.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Additionally, BUs overall strength of schedule ranks as 11th in the nation and 3rd in the Big 12.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> Baylor is shooting 46.4-percent from the field and averaging 78.4 points in its last five games versus 40.1-percent field goals and an average of 66.8 points in its first five games of the conference season.</span><br>
<span style="text-transform: none;"> The Bears are 95-5 (.950) over the last 10 seasons when hitting at least 50.0 percent from the field, sixth best in Division I (min. 20 games).</span></div>
