 the nation’s leaders in several categories in 2025, including fumble recoveries (second), turnovers gained (fourth), defensive TDs (10th), interceptions (20th), passing efficiency defense (32nd) and sacks (39th).</span></p>

 efficiency in 2022, the year K-State won the Big 12. Over the last four seasons, K-State has forced a league-high 88 turnovers, and allowed only 23.1 points per game, which ranked second in that span.</span></p>

<span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: black; background-color: white;">During his first year in Manhattan, Orloff helped K-State allow 21.0 points per game – a 12.2-point difference from the year prior – to rank as its best

 mark since 2003 and 23rd nationally during the 2021 season. Also, the Wildcats surrendered their fewest yards allowed per game since 2009 (344.7), which included 129.5 rushing yards per game to stand as the best effort in four years.</span></p>
