</b>In the mix for All-America honors at the midway point in Saturday’s 6K race at the NCAA Championship, Baylor sophomore Ruth Kimeli fell off her pace in the second loop of the Gans Creek Course and finished 112<sup>th</sup> in 20 minutes, 0.3 seconds.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Making her second-consecutive appearance at the NCAA Cross Country Championship, the Kenyan ran
more than a minute faster than last year’s race in Madison, Wisc., and moved up 86 spots from her 198<sup>th</sup>-place finish a year ago. </span></p>

Gans Creek course. Her previous best on this track was at the 2024 Gans Creek Classic, when she placed eighth in 20:12.3. </span></p>

was in 55<sup>th</sup> at the 3K mark in 9:35.4, less than eight seconds off a top-40 finish. But her time over the last 3,000 meters was 10:24.9 as she dropped back 57 spots. </span></p>

Hedengren (2<sup>nd</sup>, 18:38.9) her first loss of the year. The Big 12 had five teams finish in the top 20, with BYU (2<sup>nd</sup>), West Virginia (9<sup>th</sup>), Oklahoma State (12<sup>th</sup>), Colorado (13<sup>th</sup>) and Iowa State (20<sup>th</sup>).</span></p>
