sophomore Ruth Kimeli was one of 20 individuals announced as entrants for next Saturday’s NCAA Championship in Columbia, Mo. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">This marks the third time Kimeli has qualified for an NCAA Championship and her second-consecutive
trip to the NCAA Cross Country Championship. In Friday’s regional in Fayetteville, Ark., the sophomore from Kenya finished eighth with a 6K time of 20:11.4, earning all-region honors for the second year in a row. </span></p>

Championship qualifier,” Baylor coach David Barnett said. “She works incredibly hard and is a great person to work with. It will be a challenging meet, and we’re excited for the opportunity to compete.”</span></p>

Championship with a 6K time of 21:09.9. She also advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, finishing 18<sup>th</sup> in the 10,000 meters in 33:10.62. </span></p>
