a 3-0 shutout of Iowa State (4-4-2, 1-3 Big 12) on Thursday evening at Betty Lou Mays Field. With the win, the Bears have already eclipsed their Big 12 win total from last season, when they concluded conference play with a 2-5-4 record.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Baylor controlled the pace early, registering the first shot of the match in the 13th minute as midfielder Olivia Hess narrowly missed the frame. The Bears capitalized soon
after, when forward Callie Conrad found the back of the net in the 21st minute off a well-placed cross from Theresa McCullough, the duo’s second goal-assist connection in the past three matches.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Conrad added her second goal of the evening in the 34th minute, finishing a decisive pass from Aryanna Jimison to record her first career brace. With the effort, she matched

to get hot at the right moment, so that's really exciting. Our back line has just been reliable, consistent, Azul Alvarez of course always reliable and consistent. So, I can't say enough great things about those kids.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>
