while sophomore Ruth Kimeli made her season debut and ran a sub-21-minute time in the Gold Invitational 6K. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">On the men’s side, the Bears finished 25<sup>th</sup> with 681 points in a team race led by UCLA and Ohio State, respectively. Sophomore Jack Sterrett led the way for the
second-consecutive meet with a time of 25:08.1 and 148<sup>th</sup>-place finish, with Miller 171<sup>st</sup> at 25:21.0, breaking his previous best by 29 seconds. </span></p>

(26:15.8, 222<sup>nd</sup>). Junior Ethan Wrase, in his season debut, placed 238<sup>th</sup>overall with a time of 26:40.4. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">Running as an individual, Kimeli jumped out with the lead pack in an elite Gold Invitational field and was 15<sup>th</sup> through the first 1,000 meters, clocking a 3:06.2
time that left her just two seconds out of the lead. But she fell to 41<sup>st</sup> at the midway point and eventually fell to 95<sup>th</sup> overall with a time of 20:48.4. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">Running shorthanded for the second-straight meet, the Baylor women were in the top half of the field and had three runners in the top 100 individually midway through the
race. But Texas transfer Mackenize Browne slipped to the back of the race by the 4,000-meter mark and eventually dropped out, leaving the Bears with only four runners. </span></p>

22:10.8), with Evanna Jacobsen (172<sup>nd</sup>, 23:26.1) and Sally Corder (178<sup>th</sup>, 23:33.2) rounding out the Baylor contingent. </span></p>
