<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">“Finishing off of Day Two of the Big 12 Championships,” head coach Michael Ford said. “Definitely want to start off with Alexis Brown, winning another title in long jump, breaking
a school record, also going over 23-feet, wind-legal, for the first time. That was big for her, but even bigger was the points we scored. We scored 20 points in the women’s long jump with Logan getting points and Janae getting the runner-up title. Overall,
I was really happy with the field events today. Then you go Molly, who won the Big 12 title and Tenly getting points, I believe we got 12.5 points in pole vault, so that set us up well for tomorrow’s finals.

making their first final since they’ve been at Baylor. You go to the men’s 100m with Laurenz and De’montray making the finals. Our men’s team is a little slim, but you also had Demario make the final in the 110 hurdles. Overall, I thought we did a great job.
Of course, you can’t forget Summer, a senior walk-on, makes her first individual final at the Big 12s in the 400, so had a couple of great performances today. Excited to see what tomorrow brings.”
