<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">With a 0-0 contest until the fourth inning, Lillie Walker and the Baylor defense retired the first 11 out of 12 Cougars.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Starting off the bottom of the fourth inning with a single off the bat of Govan, Coleman followed with a single of her own before pinch-runner Caroline Rowatt advanced to third
on an error to put runners on the corners. After a groundout moved Coleman to second, Abi Flores drew a walk to load the bases. Entering to pinch-hit, Emry McDonough roped a single to centerfield to bring home one run before a second run come home when the
centerfielder bobbled the ball. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
