<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Baylor battled Texas Tech for most of the game starting in the first inning when BU ended a threat from Texas Tech with a double play from Turiya Coleman to Shaylon Govan.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">BU fought back in the bottom half of the inning when Govan walked and Coleman doubled off the top of the wall in right field to put runners on second and third with one out,
but a fly out and strikeout stopped the Bears from scoring. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">After the Red Raiders got two on in the top of the second, Brooklyn Carter made a snag in centerfield before throwing a runner out at home to stop another run from coming home.
Texas tech was able to capitalize during the next at bat and make it a 2-0 game.

double play to stop Baylor from scoring for the second-straight inning. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

a run back in the bottom half of the third. After a leadoff single from Toven, Ashlyn Wachtendorf reached on a fielder’s choice and scored after Presleigh Pilon reached on an error to make it a 3-1 game.
