afternoon at Getterman Stadium. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Baylor started off strong against Kansas in its last game of a three-game series, only throwing five pitches in the top of the first and retiring the Jayhawks in order. Baylor
threatened in the bottom half of the inning after a leadoff single from Presleigh Pilon and walks from Shaylon Govan and Karynton Dawson but no runs came around to score.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">After putting runners in scoring position again in the bottom of the second, it was Kansas who got on the board first with a two-run single in the top of the third.
