morning at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course. The women finished the 6k race in 13th place with the men also in 13th in the 8k competition.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;layout-grid-mode:char"><span style="mso-ligatures:none">Ruth Kimeli led the women in their 6k race on an overcast morning on Friday, finishing in 26th with a time of 20:24.51 out of a stacked field that included
four of the nation’s top 20 teams. She becomes the best-finisher for Baylor women at the Big 12 Championships since 2022. The freshman standout has earned the No. 1 spot for Baylor in every meet she has competed in this season.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;layout-grid-mode:char"><span style="mso-ligatures:none">Kimeli was followed by Ella Perry, another freshman, in 90th place, Jackie Addy in 95th place, Jordan Ledington in 109th and Rosanna Pugh in 115th. Anna Garner
followed shortly behind the top-5, finishing in 123rd. The women scored 363 points, which landed them in 13th, in front of TCU, Houston and Arizona.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;layout-grid-mode:char"><span style="mso-ligatures:none">Making his postseason debut, freshman and Waco-native Jack Sterrett led the men at the No. 1 spot for the first time this season. Sterrett paced the Bears
in 84th place with a time of 25:06.252. Also scoring for Baylor was Nick Hruskoci in 90th, Nolan Keenan in 95th, Devin Duran in 100th, Aiden Ramshaw in 108th and Ben Archer in 110th. Caden Biltz followed right behind the top-5, finishing in 112th. Combined,
the squad tallied 380 points to put them in 13th place. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
