 seasons. He joins Matthew Perrine (2017) and Colin Kober (2019), contributing to Baylor's 32 scholar-athletes of the year, which is second-most in the Big 12.

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;color:black;background:white;font-weight:normal">An accounting major from San Antonio, Texas, Keefer enjoyed another successful season, earning second-team All-America honors from the
 Golf Coaches Association of America and third-team honors from Golfweek, becoming the first player in program history to be named an All-American in three different seasons. A two-time All-Big 12 selection, he is one of two players in program history to be
 named Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year and All-Big 12 in the same season, and he has now done it on two occasions (2022 and 2024).<o:p></o:p></span></strong></p>

</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">He also re-wrote the Baylor history books this season, passing PGA Tour member and major champion Jimmy Walker for BU's career stroke-average mark with a 71.45. In the run up to a second-straight
 NCAA Championship appearance in 2023-24, he established the Bears’ 54-hole scoring record with a 12-under 198 at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional. Keefer’s second-round 64 in Chapel Hill ranks as the fourth-best single-round in BU history and tied for the lowest

 carding a team-leading two top-5s, five top-10s and 10 top-25s. Additionally, he paced Baylor in below-par percentage (23.2%), par-or-better percentage (83.8%), total birdies (139), par-4 scoring average (4.02) and par-5 scoring average (4.60).

 Every Big 12 institution nominates one individual per sport, with the winners selected by the league head coaches for that sport, who are not allowed to vote for their student-athletes. Scholar-Athlete of the Year nominees must be a junior or senior (athletic
