<p class="MsoBodyText"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">EUGENE, Ore. –</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif"> On day seven of the U.S. track and field Olympic Trials, Baylor found success in
Alexis Brown, Tiriah Kelley, De’Montray Callis and Laurenz Colbert as they qualified to the following rounds in their respective events. This is the first Olympic trials for all four Bears in their careers.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">On the track, Kelley raced in the first round of the women’s 200m event. Competing in the first heat, the sophomore clocked a 22.97 time, earning her a fifth-place finish in
her heat and advancing her to the semifinal round. Kelley finished 16<sup>th</sup> overall in the event and will look to Friday, June 28, in the semifinal round to continue moving on. During Friday’s round, the top six in each heat and the next fastest three
times will advance to the finals. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Competing in the first round of the men’s 200m sprint, Colbert and Callis finished seventh and eighth in their heat but earned the first and second next fastest times in their
event, qualifying them a bid to the semifinal round. The semifinal round will take place on Friday, June 28.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">In the field, Brown, competing in the women’s long jump, came out with no fear and earned a 21-8 ¾ mark on attempt No. 2. Brown finished fifth overall in the event to advance
her to the final round, taking place on Saturday, June 29. Just a month ago, Brown earned a fifth place finish at the NCAA Track and Field Championships and her fifth all-time outdoor All-America honor.
