<p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-left:5.0pt;text-indent:-5.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:120%;font-family:"Univers Condensed",sans-serif"> On their way to Gainesville, the Bears defeated Ole Miss in the opening game of the regional
round before taking down Louisiana on day two to head to championship Sunday. On the last day of competition in Lafayette, Baylor fell against the No. 13 national seed 13-0, before turning around in a winner-takes-all game and defeated the Ragin Cajuns 4-3
to capture the upset. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-left:5.0pt;text-indent:-5.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:120%;font-family:"Univers Condensed",sans-serif"> Every inning of the Gainesville Super Regional will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
Matt Schumacker (pxp) and Erin Miller (analyst) will be on the call all weekend. Baylors first game against the Gators will be featured on ESPN 2. Every Baylor game will continue to be broadcasted on 101.3 FM with Derek Smith handling the commentary.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-left:5.0pt;text-indent:-5.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:120%;font-family:"Univers Condensed",sans-serif"> BU earned an NCAA postseason bid for the 16th time in program history. Baylor is 51-35 all-time
in the NCAA Tournament. The Bears have advanced to the Super Regional round six times (2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2017).

when playing in Gainesville. The Last time BU faced Florida was during the 2018 season. Baylor came to Gainesville for the 2021 Gainesville regional but did not end up playing the host team.

as Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas advanced to Super Regionals. The four Big 12 teams are the most to advance to the second weekend of the NCAA Softball Championship since 2011 while the 80% of the leagues five selections to move on to the second
weekend is the best among any multi-bid league.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<b>Emily Hott</b> has also been on fire offensively, totaling 56 hits, nine doubles, six triples and 10 home runs. Her six triples tie a single-season record for the Bears and another one would put her in the top spot alone.
