<p class="MsoBodyText"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">ATLANTA –</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> Baylor women’s basketball assistant coach Sadie Edwards has been selected as a Thirty Under 30 honoree for the 2023-24 season, the Women’s Basketball
Coaches Association (WBCA) announced on Thursday. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The WBCA Thirty Under 30 program was created to recognize 30 up-and-coming women’s basketball coaches aged 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree has exemplified their involvement in community
service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement. A total of 31 coaches received the honor this year due to a tie in the selection process.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The honor marks the second time in her coaching career that Edwards has earned the recognition, previously receiving it as an assistant coach at Oregon last season.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Currently in her first season at Baylor, Edwards serves as the program’s recruiting coordinator on top of her coaching duties. Edwards’ notable scouts this season have included Oregon and Utah, helping the
Bears best the Utes when they were the No. 4 team in the country. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">In an article published by The Athletic at the end of January, Edwards was mentioned as a college basketball assistant coach that was ready to become a head coach and she was the youngest assistant coach
included on the list. With five years as an assistant coach under her belt, Edwards has an impressive resume that includes stops at three power conferences and the WNBA.
