of at least three innings in relief. Redshirt junior righty Andrew Petrowski pitched a scoreless eighth inning and picked up two strikeouts for his second-consecutive multi-strikeout performance.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt">The Bears pushed one across in the top of the second after junior outfielder Wesley Jordan doubled and later scored on Altman’s sacrifice fly.
However, Texas extended its lead to 5-1 in the home half with a solo home run, the first of two on the day by leadoff batter Jared Thomas.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
