who reached on a fielding error to load the bases. Kaci West then lined a hard-hit ball straight to the first baseman, who made the diving play to turn the double play and end the Bears’ threat.

with one out. Govan was then intentionally walked to load the bases for the second-straight inning. The Bears, catching another unlucky break, lined a ball directly at the third baseman, who made the catch and touched third to turn the Jayhawks’ second-straight
inning-ending double play. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
