team made quick work of Texas Tech on Saturday at United Supermarkets Arena, sweeping the Red Raiders, 3-0, in head coach Ryan McGuyre’s 100<sup>th</sup> career Big 12 victory.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">BU (14-9, 8-5 Big 12) took all three sets from TTU (8-16, 1-11 Big 12), winning 25-22, 25-19, 25-14.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Bears were led by Allie Sczech in kills with 13, had four players tied with two blocks each, and Lauren Briseño had her first 20-dig
match of the season. Setter Averi Carlson had a double-double with 31 assists and 11 digs, but also served up a career-high six aces for the Bears.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">BU started off the first frame with back-to-back kills from Allie Sczech. Manuela Bibinbe and Riley Simpson got in on the action with
some kills before Averi Carlson had back-to-back aces to put the Bears up by four, 8-4. Simpson had another kill and then got a solo block to push TTU into a timeout, 10-4. Sczech, Alicia Andrew, Bibinbe and Elise McGhee had kills to extend the lead to 17-9,
but then the Red Raiders started a comeback. Texas Tech went on a run, taking the score all the way to 20-16 with a few Baylor errors and TTU on the block. Baylor saw a kill from McGhee before she served up an ace, 23-18. The Bears inching toward set point,
Tech decided to make it interesting and went all the way up to 24-22 thanks to a few kills and blocks, but Simpson ended the set with a tipped ball, 25-22.

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Bears saw Tech take the first two points with an attack error and block but watched the third serve go out for point, BU. Bibinbe
got a kill but then a block stopped the momentum until McGhee got a kill, then sandwiched a TTU kill, now tied at four. Bibinbe swung and got a kill but Tech kept pace and served an ace to go up by one. Sczech tied it and Kendal Murphy got a kill to help push
BU forward. Andrew and McGhee got kills to keep the Bears two steps ahead. Alexis Dacosta served up an ace at 12-8 and Tech called timeout. Out of it, McGhee had a kill and Dacosta served up a second ace, now up 14-8. Sczech kept swinging and delivered a kill,
then going up for the block with Bibinbe to be up by six at 16-10. Tehani Ulufatu kept the service line hot for BU and had an ace, followed by a solo block from McGhee. The Red Raiders started to put their feet on the gas and got up to 24-19, pushing off set
point five times by then. It was Sczech who ended the set with a tip at 25-19. <o:p>

had some clutch digs and finished with McGhee and Bibinbe getting the block. Carlson dumped the ball to get another point for the Bears, 3-1. TTU got some free points from Baylor errors, but Simpson kept the Bears a step ahead, 6-5. Sczech got a kill, then
Simpson and Andrew had a block, 8-6. After Sczech got another kill on the next point, the Red Raiders called timeout. Carlson served up three-straight aces to push the Bears ahead, 13-6. Tech got two kills but Simpson stopped their possibility of a run with
a kill. Sczech put BU up 16-10 before McGhee went on a tear. She got a kill and then back-to-back aces, forcing a TTU timeout. Bibinbe had a kill through the block and Faith Lynch entered the match to serve. The 12<sup>th</sup> ace of the match, sixth of the
set, came from Lynch to put BU up 22-12. Simpson had a kill and then Carlson served up the match point with an ace, 24-13.
