Baylor created chances early in the first half, with six shots in the first 16 minutes of play. Ashley Merrill got things started with a ball that sailed just high of the net, before Tyler Isgrig put one on frame and the Bears were rewarded a corner. Hannah
Augustyn found the ball from Isgrig’s corner kick and headed it in, but the KU goalkeeper came up with the save.
