softball’s Sydney Collazos capped off a successful academic and athletic season, earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America accolades, the organization announced Wednesday.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Collazos becomes the 12<sup>th</sup> player in program history to receive CSC Academic All-America honors and is the first since Kyla Walker
in 2020 to receive the honor. She is one of 13 members on the first, second or third teams with a 3.95 or higher GPA and is one of 12 members on any of the three teams from the Big 12 Conference.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">The Georgetown, Texas, native, holds a 3.97 GPA in her Health Science degree, while she minors in biology. She recently took the Medical College
Admission Test (MCAT) and is applying to medical school this fall. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">On the field, Collazos hit a career high .348 with 49 hits and 24 RBIs. She started in 46 games, 29 games at catcher and 17 at third base. She
totaled 14 multi-hit games this season while boasting a .418 slugging percentage.
