<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Bears, now 23-8 on the season, scored their lone run in the fifth inning, but weren’t able to capitalize further with the bases loaded.

a three-run home run put OSU ahead, 3-0. Another run came home on a hit and another fielding error to put the Cowgirls up by four runs.

reached on a fielder’s choice, with the runner going home being tagged out. Amber Toven then reached on an error by the first baseman, and the Bears’ lone run scored. Back-to-back strikeouts ended the Bears’ threat.
