at Texas Tech’s Sports Performance Center. The Bears piled three collegiate gold medals in this first day of competition.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Gary Moore made the Baylor history books on his first throw, hitting 63-4 to beat the previous program record of 61-10 ¼ by Cole Hardan at the 2021 Big 12 Championship. On
his very next throw, he threw for 65-3 ½ to land second in the event. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Hardan also made the finals of the weight throw, finishing seventh, and Cooper Mack made opened his Baylor career with a 12<sup>th</sup> place finish.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Bears swept the 600 yard titles, with Nathaniel Ezekiel (1:08.75) and Lily Williams (1:20.21) winning their respective races. Nicholi Brown and Jasmine Gryne both finished
fifth in their overall standings, while Gontse Morake placed ninth. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Laurenz Colbert won silver in the B section of the 200 meters with a 21.03 second race in heat two. Hasani Barr finished fourth, De’montray Callis finished fifth and Ricquan
Graham finished ninth.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">In her first meet with the Bears, Alexis Brown won the collegiate title in the long jump after putting up a 20-0 ½ jump on her last attempt. Koi Johnson followed closely
behind, jumping 19-3 ½ to finish with a collegiate silver, and Nikayla Fitzgerald put up a 17-6 ¼ to finish eighth overall.

herself seventh in the Baylor history books. Hannah Link followed in 13<sup>th</sup>, maxing out at 51-6 ½.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
