<p class="MsoBodyText"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">FORT WORTH -- </span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">While Baylor's defense kept one of the nation's leading rushers bottled up all night, Air Force quarterback Haaziq Daniels passed for 103 yards
and one touchdown and rushed for 81 yards and another score in a 30-15 win in Thursday's chilly Armed Forces Bowl at Amon Carter Stadium.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Temperature at kickoff was 13 degrees with a wind-chill of negative-1, the coldest game in the history of the Baylor football program and one degree from being the coldest bowl game ever in college football.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Leading by just two at the break, the Falcons (10-3) broke it open with 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on a two-yard run by Daniels and a 15-yard TD pass from Daniels to tight end Caleb Rillos.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Three times, the Bears (6-7) went for it and failed on fourth down, giving it back to Air Force at the 42-yard line on the second one when Blake Shapen was sacked.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">After the second turnover on downs, Air Force fullback Brad Roberts carried it five straight times for 37 yards and scored on a one-yard run to make it 30-7. Coming into the game ranked No. 3 in the nation
with over 1,600 yards rushing, he had just 29 yards on his first 15 carries.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Baylor's offense finally got untracked late in the fourth quarter, when Shapen led a four-play, 85-yard drive. He connected with Jaylen Ellis on a 57-yard pass and freshman tight end Kelsey Johnson for 14
before hitting Gavin Holmes for the 14-yard TD.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Shapen also scored on the two-point conversion to make it a two-score game with 3:34 left. For the game, he was 11-of-23 for 188 yards and two touchdowns, but the Bears never got anything going in the run
game and finished with just 230 yards total offense.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">After Air Force jumped out to a 9-0 lead with two first-quarter drives, the Bears got back in it when Jackie Marshall dumped Daniels for a five-yard loss on fourth-and-1 from the Bears' 48.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Overcoming a holding penalty on the first play, Baylor picked up 57 yards in six plays and scored on Shapen's eight-yard TD pass to Hal Presley in the left

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Roberts did record his 11th 100-yard game of the season, finishing with 116 yards on 37 carries, despite getting stopped twice on fourth-and-short. Air Force was 11-1 this season when Roberts gained at least
100 yards.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
