duo Lauren Reid and Dominika Silvestri have been named Big 12 Riders of the Month for November, as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.<br>
<br>
Reid picked up co-honors in Fences after a 2-0 month that propelled her to a three-meet win streak. The freshman out of Nazareth, Pa., put down a career-high 85 at No. 1 SMU and collected Most Outstanding Performer praise for the first time in her rookie season
with BU’s second-highest Fences score of the year. She followed that up with a point-winning 78 against Fresno State in the Bears’ final meet of the fall.<br>
<br>
Silvestri earned co-recognition in Flat with an undefeated performance as part of a stellar start to her senior campaign. Riding a five-meet win streak, Silvestri garnered her second-career Flat MOP with an 80 against the Bulldogs in BU’s fall finale. She averaged
a 77 on the month after previously defeating her SMU opponent with a score of 74.<br>
<br>
These are the first-career Big 12 Rider of the Month accolades for both Reid and Silvestri. Baylor has now claimed conference honors in all three editions of the 2022-23 monthly awards, and in six of the last seven months dating back to last season. Four of
BU’s five honors this season have come on the Jumping Seat side.<br>

No. 8 Baylor wrapped up its fall slate with a 2-4 record, including a 2-1 mark in Big 12 action, and returns to the competition arena on Jan. 27 to open the spring season against No. 9 UT Martin at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
