<p class="MsoBodyText"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">WACO, Texas –</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> Baylor men’s tennis released its 2023 spring schedule on Tuesday, as announced by head coach Michael Woodson.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">“We are really fortunate to be able to play one of the premier schedules in the country every season,” said Woodson. “The mix of being in the strongest conference, coupled with the opportunity to play a
vast array of top-20 teams throughout the non-conference schedule, really challenges our guys at the highest level and it’s why young men come to Baylor. To play on our team is to be tested and to play the best of the best. We certainly were able to accomplish
that in our schedule this year.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The Bears will host 13 of their 22 regular-season matches in Waco, including Big 12 contests against Texas Tech and Texas. The Hurd Tennis Center is also set as an outdoor host site for the ITA Kickoff Weekend,
Jan. 27-28, featuring a two-round tournament with Arizona State, San Diego and Florida State.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">“Our fans will really enjoy some of the teams that we have coming to the Hawkins Indoor and the Hurd Tennis Center this year, and we are going to make some great trips to play some of the premier teams from
other conferences,” said Woodson.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The 2023 season officially opens with a doubleheader on Sunday, Jan. 15, with matches against Lamar and Incarnate Word. The Bears hit the road after for a match at William and Mary on Jan. 20 and at Virginia
on Jan. 22.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The Bears return to Waco to host the ITA Kickoff weekend one week later, Jan. 27-28. The winner of two matches moves on the national tournament in February.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The Bears are back on the road for a week, as they head to Ohio State on Feb. 14 and then compete at the ITA Indoor National Championships in Chicago, the 17<sup>th</sup>-20<sup>th</sup>.

USC on the 10<sup>th</sup>, SMU on the 23<sup>rd</sup> and Tulsa on the 29<sup>th</sup>.
