<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">After a leadoff groundout, Taylor Strain drew a walk to account for the first base-runner of the game for the Bears.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Showing off defensively, the Bears stopped a couple of Sooners from scoring in the bottom of the first, when a couple of groundouts and a strikeout closed the inning.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">In the top of the second, Baylor got the first two batters on base when Josie Bower was hit by a pitch and Aliyah Binford followed with an infield single. But, OU started Nicole May (9-0) retired the next three
in order before Binford (5-3) worked a 1-2-3 bottom half to keep the game a scoreless tie through two.
