<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Mikayla Deshazer was the lone Bear to compete on Friday, recording a 152-03 throw in discus to land in the seventh spot.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">The Baylor women opened up the outdoor relays with a 44.43-second race in the 4x100. Caira Pettway, Arria Minor, Sydney Washington and Michaela Francois won the gold medal in the event.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Pettway’s second gold medal came from her 20-10 ½ attempt in the long jump. She now holds the fifth spot all-time at Baylor in the event. Alex Madlock hit a 20-4 ¼ jump to finish third, and Koi Johnson finished
in fourth. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Gold No. 3 for Pettway came in the women’s edition of the 100-meter dash. The senior recorded a 11.37-second race and found the No. 9 spot on the Baylor all-time list. Sydney Washington also landed a spot
on the podium in third with 11.55 seconds. Bria Bullard, Francois and Alexis Duncan rounded out the top-10 in the race.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Duncan made her Baylor debut in the women’s 100-meter hurdles, putting up a 13.38-second time to win gold. Kennedy Bailey found bronze in the event after 13.35 seconds.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Matthew Moorer and Nathaniel Ezekiel finished 1-2 in the men’s 400 meters, with 46.18 and 46.20 seconds, respectively. Preston York finished fourth, followed by Isaiah Cunningham in fifth and Christopher DuPree

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Mariah Ayers won gold in the women’s 400 meters, tabbing a 52.77-second finish. Morgan Stewart and Gontse Morake finished back-to-back in fifth and sixth places, respectively. Cierra Wash rounded out the top-10

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Elijah Morris was the lone hurdler for the Bears on Saturday, finding a fourth-place finish in the men’s 110, followed by a silver medal in the men’s 400 hurdles after 55.99.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
