<p class="MsoNormal"><b>SAN MARCOS, Texas – </b>Baylor softball picked up its fifth shutout this season as it defeated Texas State, 3-0, on the road Wednesday night at Bobcat Softball Stadium.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Bears came to play, scoring a run in three different innings, with the first coming in the top of the first. After McKenzie Wilson led off with a double, she moved up on a bunt from Taylor Strain and scored on a groundout to give Baylor

<p class="MsoNormal">Behind a solid defense, the Bears held the Bobcats to a three-up, three-down inning in the second and third.

<p class="MsoNormal">BU tacked on another run in the top of the third, as freshman Kaci West scored on an RBI groundout from Sydney Collazos.
