<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">After starting pitcher Dariana Orme struck out three batters in the top of the first, the Baylor offense came alive to plate five runs in the bottom of the first. Emily Hott drew a leadoff walk before Sydney Collazos
singled to left field putting runners on first and second with two outs. A string of singles from Josie Bower, Ana Watson, Kendall Cross and Taylor Strain brought home four to take the early lead. Tacking on the fifth run was leadoff batter Hott who added
another single and gave the Bears the 5-0 advantage. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
