<b>DENVER – </b></span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">No. 25 Baylor women's tennis opened its weekend road tilt with a 5-2 victory over Denver Friday afternoon at the Denver Tennis Park.<br>

Baylor (3-3) took the doubles point for the fifth-straight match en route to winning the first-ever meeting between the two programs.<br>

Denver (1-4) came out first with the 6-3 doubles win on court three over Isabella Harvison and Paula Baranano, but the Bears evened it up when second-ranked Alicia Herrero Linana and Mel Krywoj battled to a 7-5 victory at the top spot. It all came down to court
two where Alina Shcherbinina and Anita Sahdiieva clinched the opening point with a 7-5 triumph over the Pioneers.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
