afternoon. Herrero Linana battled through three sets to defeat Texas A&M’s Tatiana Makarova, 6-4 2-6, 1-0 (10-4). Makarova came in at No. 10 in the ITA’s Preseason rankings that were released Sept. 7. Herrero Linana was ranked No. 110.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

a fourth win in straight sets, this one by a final score of 6-4, 6-3, over Texas A&M’s Jayci Goldsmith.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
