host its Green & Gold Scrimmage on Saturday, Sept. 18, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco.<br>

The meet is free and open to the public with fans getting their first chance to see the 2021-22 roster in action. Head coach Casie Maxwell enters her fifth season at the reins of the program and returns 13 of BU’s 18 point-winners from last season.<br>

The Bears are coming off a trip to the NCEA national semifinals after snapping No. 1 Auburn’s 42-meet win streak in the 2021 quarterfinals, marking their first appearance in the semis during the Maxwell era. Senior Madaline Callaway (Reining) and junior Savannah
Hemby (Jumping Seat) lead a talented and youthful squad that includes 21 seniors, 14 juniors, nine sophomores and 18 freshmen.<br>

Baylor officially opens the regular season next week at No. 10 UT Martin with a 10 a.m. meet on Friday, Sept. 24, at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Pavilion.<br>
