have been named to the 2021 Preseason All-Big 12 Team, as voted by the league’s head coaches and announced Tuesday by the conference office.<br>
<br>
Both Pressley and Skinner were unanimously selected to the preseason team following stellar senior seasons that earned them both All-America honors. This marks the fourth-consecutive year that the Bears have had at least two preseason all-conference members.<br>
<br>
“Yossi and Avery are both elite-level pin hitters that are smart, explosive and exciting to watch,” said seventh-year head coach Ryan McGuyre. “Their skill and leadership will continue to multiply the other talents and skill on this team.”<br>
<br>
For the fourth-straight year, Pressley is a unanimous preseason All-Big 12 choice after leading the league with 4.69 kills per set in the 2020-21 combined season. The fifth-year senior OH also led the nation with 488 total kills while hitting .249. The Cypress,
Texas, native is the NCAA Division I active career leader in kills, kills per set and total attacks as a four-time All-American and 2019 AVCA Player of the Year.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Before even stepping on to the court in green and gold, Skinner was unanimously picked to the All-Big 12 preseason team following a national title-winning
senior season at Kentucky. Originally from Katy, Texas, the OH hit .366 last year with 3.77 kills per set on her way to picking up All-America, All-SEC and AVCA All-Region honors.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">The Big 12 will release the 2021 preseason poll on Wednesday.<br>

Baylor will look to build upon its fifth-consecutive 20-win season after finishing 20-7 last season with an appearance in the NCAA Regional Semifinals and a Big 12 runner-up finish.<br>

The Bears will begin their 2021 campaign at a date still to be announced.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
