broke his own school record in the hammer throw to highlight day one for Baylor track & field Friday at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Jacobs pushed all the way to the fourth spot before finishing in eighth place with a personal-best time of 35:28.61. The freshman from Sunnyvale, Texas, scored one point for
the Bears with her performance.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
