named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, as announced Wednesday by the conference office.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">All nine Bears who met the participation requirement earn First Team honors, led by Colin Kober, who was one of seven players in the conference to earn the recognition with a
perfect 4.0 GPA.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Kober was joined on the First Team by Baylor teammates Cooper Dossey, Luke Dossey, Ryan Grider, Brandon Hoff, Tyler Isenhart, Johnny Keefer, Travis McInroe and Mark Reppe. Baylor’s
nine First Team honorees bested the previous school record set with seven selections in both 2018 and 2019.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Cooper Dossey and Kober became the first players in program history named five-time Academic All-Big 12 honorees. Kober was named to the First Team for a school-record fourth-consecutive
season and was a Rookie Team honoree in 2017, while Cooper Dossey was also on the Rookie Team in 2017, and was a Second Team selection in 2020 and earned his third career First Team honor this season (2018, 2019, 2021).

First Team for a third-consecutive season following their 2018 Rookie Team honors.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Hoff picked up his third Academic All-Big 12 honor with a Rookie Team selection in 2019 followed by back-to-back First Team honors the last two seasons. Isenhart, Keefer and
Luke Dossey all earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team recognition for the first time after being named to the Rookie Team a season ago.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Players are eligible for Academic All-Big 12 honors after they’ve completed a full year in residence, and for a fifth-consecutive season every Baylor golfer who met the participation

Andreas Gjesteby and Bill Allcorn to make nine players in program history with four or more Academic All-Big 12 honors.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Baylor has now had 100 Academic All-Big 12 honorees in the conference’s 25-year history, with 69 First-Team selections, 17 on Second Teams, 12 on the Rookie Teams and two honorable
mentions. At least five Bears have earned league academic honors in all seven seasons under head coach Mike McGraw, after the Bears had five or more honorees in one of 18 seasons prior to his arrival.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">BU players have combined to earn 56 Academic All-Big 12 honors during the seven-year McGraw era after picking up 44 such honors in the league’s first 18 seasons.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Nominated by each institution's director of student-athlete support services, the Academic All-Big 12 men's golf team consisted of 47 First Team honorees and nine Second-Team
selections. To qualify, student-athletes must participate in at least 20 percent of their team’s scheduled contests and maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher, while freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. First Team honorees
have a minimum 3.20 GPA.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
