<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">The Lady Bears jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third inning when Emily Hott and Goose McGlaun hit home runs in back-to-back at-bats. That marked the first time Baylor has blasted back-to-back bombs since doing
so at Houston on March 10, 2020.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Iowa State came back to tie things up in the bottom of the frame, but Baylor answered in the top of the fifth when Lou Gilbert hit a solo shot over the right field wall to give the Lady Bears back the lead.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
