Zadie LaValley followed that up with a walk, advanced to second on a wild pitch and came around to score when Aliyah Binford cranked a double to the warning track in center field.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Sam Houston answered back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame, but the Lady Bears brought home another run in the second. With two outs, Lou Gilbert got plunked and then turned on the jets to score
from first when Kettler doubled down the right field line.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Again, the Bearkats plated a run to answer, but the Lady Bears roared back in the fourth. Josie Bower singled to left field to put a runner on with one out. Hannah Smith then reached on an error to put runners
on the corners for Gilbert whose double to left center field scored one. Kettler then cleared the bases with a single up the middle.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Aliyah Binford got the start for Baylor and gave up three runs off four hits through 1.2 innings of work before Gia Rodoni came in and shut the Kats down. Through 5.1 innings, Rodoni gave up just one hit with
