(5) before dropping a 7-3 contest to UConn.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">The Lady Bears put on a show in their first game of the day as they racked up 10 runs off nine hits. Taylor Ellis led the way for BU at the plate as the senior went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI. Goose McGlaun
went 2-for-2 herself with two RBI.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Nicky Dawson led off the bottom of the first inning with a walk before she stole second and advanced to third off a single by Lou Gilbert. Gilbert stole second to put runners in scoring position with no outs
for McGlaun who doubled to left field and scored two.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">The following inning, the Baylor offense went off for eight runs off six hits. Ellis got things started with a double and advanced to third off a single by freshman Sydney Collazos, the first of her career.
Dawson brought both of them home with a triple to right field, her second of the season and ninth of her career.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Gilbert then walked, and as she went to add an extra base while Lamar wasn’t paying attention, Dawson stole home. McGlaun followed with a single, Aliyah Binford walked, Ana Watson reached on an error and Emily
Hott reached on a fielder’s choice before Ellis came back to the plate for the second time in the frame. She singled up the middle to plate two more runs for the Lady Bears.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

through the right side. The Lady Bears had runners in scoring position with two outs when the Huskies went back to their starter in their circle who got an infield pop-up to end the inning.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
