<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Bears (34-16) were kept off-balance all day by Cowboy (34-17) starter Elliott Jensen, who had a no-hitter going through the first four frames until Davis Wendzel singled
to lead off the fifth inning. Overall, the potent Baylor offense was held to just three hits on the day as they were shut out for just the second time this year.

hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Caruso followed and struck out three in 1.2 innings, while Thomas struck out five-of-seven batters faced in 2.0 innings of work.
