<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Baylor (8-1) opened the scoring in the top of the first inning after Richard Cunningham doubled to lead off the game, advanced to third on a wild
pitch and scored on a Davis Wendzel sacrifice fly.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

holding the Bears scoreless through his final seven frames. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">The Aggies opened their lead in the fourth inning as they plated four runs. Braden Shewmake hit a pivotal two-run homer that looked to not clear
the stands, but was ruled a home run. Kettler walked three batters and allowed two more runs before striking out Blaum to get out of the jam.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

and extended his scoreless innings streak to seven.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

batting. Cunningham would then be hit-by-a-pitch to give the Bears two on with no one out. Loftin struck out, but a Wendzel RBI single cut the Aggies’ lead to 5-2. Kalich buckled down to strike out back-to-back Bears, stranding two baserunners and closing
