Bears and Falcons to resume on Sunday as part of doubleheader

WACO, Texas – Saturday’s game between Baylor baseball and Air Force has been suspended in the second inning due to inclement weather at Magnolia Field at Baylor Ballpark in Waco.

Air Force was leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second when play was halted.

The game will be resumed on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. as part of a doubleheader. The series finale will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game.

The Falcons got out to an early 1-0 lead after scratching a run across in the top of the second. BU starter senior right-handed Cade Hansen allowed just the one run on two hits while recording three strikeouts.

Play will be resumed with BU freshman designated hitter Cash McDade at the plate to leadoff the bottom of the second in an 0-1 count.
